We have always been conscious of our environmental impact at Indigo, as well as the influence that the arts and cultural sector can have on attitudes and behaviours towards the climate crisis.

We are therefore delighted to have received accreditation as a Silver Carbon Literate Organisation by the UN-recognised The Carbon Literacy Project.

This prestigious accreditation recognises our commitment to upskill our people to become Carbon Literate individuals, our work focusing on sustainability such as our Indigo Share: Hot Topic research Act Green, and our business pledges to play a more proactive role for a low-carbon culture.

Being accredited as a Silver Carbon Literate Organisation is an important achievement for us because it:

  • Supports our people to collaborate in identifying and implementing opportunities for carbon reduction on an organisational scale.
  • Demonstrates our commitment to maintaining a low-carbon organisational culture.
  • Enables us to drive faster action on climate change.
  • Sets a positive example of sustainability leadership in our industry.
